Counted Cross Stitch Quilt Block Patterns

These little cross stitch quilt patterns can be used for many different things: bookmarks, cards, ornaments, quilts, wallhangings, and much more. You can order a set of 4 cross-stitch patterns sent in a pdf for $4.00 or have the cross stitch patterns mailed for $8.00 printing, shipping and handling fee each set. Included will be a cross stitch chart, how to instructions and amount of DMC floss needed. See free sample.

The cross stitch quilt block patterns are 56 stitches. I use 14 ct. for larger items, 22 ct. for medium projects and 30 ct. for smaller projects and borders. The sizes are approximately as follows:

14 ct. evenweave canvas - 3.99" x 3.99"
22 ct. evenweave canvas - 2.54" x 2.54"
30 ct. evenweave canvas - 1.87" x 1.87"

I was looking at my mom's quilts one day and thought why not design little cross stitch quilt blocks based on some of her quilts. I also consulted quilt books; such as, Better Homes and Gardens 501 Quilt Blocks for quilt patterns.

The little cross stitch patchwork patterns are great for on the go projects. You can use leftover floss from all your previous projects as well. I use leftover canvas from projects to make bookmarks, cards and ornaments. Mix and match different colors and different blocks to form placemats, totes, wallhanging and quilts.

If you have made a unique craft with a block, let me know. Also send pictures and I'll make a display page. Thanks.

Example: Take a block from Set 3 using beige linen and make a large grocery bag or tote with liner.

Note: when using linen use 2 stitches for 1 on pattern.

Another Example: Take the boat in Set 7, enlarged it to 8x8 by using double pattern blocks (2x2 instead of 1 stitch), add nautical border and make a pillow.
